How To Kill a Habit

"Logical thinking is the worst kind of thinking. Rational thinking is limited. You need exactly the kind of thoughts that does not look at the rational obvious. You need to think with a vision that sees the obvious without logical limitations or restrictions."

How do you kill a habit?

There is only one way. You stop feeding it. And trust me, it has a very anguished face of starvation. It will be horrendous to watch it die. You must look away. For I promise you, it is so tragic if you were to look at starving habit then you will definitely start feeding it again. It is impossible to watch it die. You must turn your back on the habit and walk away.

And even years later you will get glimpses of your habit. Don't feed it, no matter how much it begs. Turn around and forget about it. Don't even feed the memory of the memory. What does a habit look like? Like the cutest little kitten you've ever seen and exactly like the most dreadful monster you can imagine.

And then just as a thought to ponder over if you have the habit of over eating, could it maybe be:

  • Energy = Mass, Mass = Energy. If you wait to do what excites you, then the energy turns into mass?
  • You use it as a shield between the outside world and the real you. A sense of fear creates the fat.
  • You eat to supply in another way that what you feel you lack in life. Your habits are substitutes for what you think you lack but cannot have?

life.
